Hey, you know what I didn't know before today? That Ashlee started studying ballet at the age of three, and was admitted to the School of American Ballet when she was 11. (The minimum age is actually 12; Papa Joe lied about her age, because he is sketchy. Still, she was holding her own with older kids, that's fucking impressive.) And I knew she played Roxie in a West End run of Chicago, but I didn't know she got rave reviews. Whatever, I'm not saying she's Aretha Franklin. What I am saying is that I would totally read the Broadway AU where she and Patrick and Brendon are all in a play together. Oklahoma! Brendon is Curly, Patrick is Jud, Ashlee is Ado Annie. Anything Goes! Ashlee is Reno Sweeney, Patrick is Moonface Martin, Brendon is Billy. South Pacific! Patrick is Emile, Ashlee is Nellie, Brendon is Cable.

Of course during all of these Pete is the skeevy stage manager who likes to give dirty interpretations of the songs over the headsets in the middle of the show, and Ryro is the lighting guy who nested in the catwalks and never comes down except to blink at everyone during opening nights and steal the complimentary wine. Gerard is the director. Ray Toro is the conductor and people in the front rows always whisper angrily about how they can't see over his furiously swishing hair, until Bob the set design guy takes pity on them and starts building the pit deeper. The Cab boys are little stage techs who remember to dress all in black but forget to take off their neon sunglasses before running out on stage.
