I had a dream last night that Keltie was this amazing kick-ass artist/craftswoman. She had this store where she sold everything from jewelry to watercolors to giant light-up inflatable flowers. Of course when I woke up, I started thinking about Yoko Ono, and about how there were those two fascinating sides of the artistic coin in the sixties: the craft-as-art explosion, and the conceptual/performance art movement. And from there I had to go to the place where Keltie is kind of the anti-Yoko (for the record, I think Yoko Ono is awesome, which may not be clear in this comparison) who by making a guy happy brought a band closer together instead of driving them apart. Yoko marked the end of the Beatles, Keltie contributed to the beginning of Panic-as-the-Beatles. They're both amazing women who suffer because of their lover's fans. I don't know, I don't know, my subconscious is apparently not subtle.
Also, what the heck, subconscious, ASHLEE is the one in the news right now. Why could there not be an adorable dork in a teletubby outfit in my dreams last night? What is the deal????
