kalpurna at 05:47pm on 03/09/2008I briefly considered just making a post that said "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" but then I decided that would be kind of annoying and a dick move considering how boring my LJ has been lately and so instead you get three talking points.
1. Patrick Stump wants to talk about the heatwave in my pants. OKAY, PATRICK. I THINK THIS IS A TOPIC WORTHY OF EXPLORATION. *_____*
2. The lyrics on this song are exactly the kind of viscerally vivid emotional wordplay that I think Pete is best at. This is why I admire his writing - not for technical finesse, but for stuff that reaches right down inside you and punches a button. I already know there are dark angry arrogant moods when I will want to listen to this song on repeat. I love that.
3. This is totally a song that will make Patrick get all stompy like a tiny dinosaur when they play it live. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
