1. John Sheppard, how are you so gay? The entire sequence with Ronon was the gayest bit of gayitude in all of Gaydonia, and I looooove it. "I always thought you and Teyla..." "...Eh." (BECAUSE HE'S GAY.)

2. OK, I could not have MORE love for Rodney's bitchery at his underlings. Because he's kind of right, and because he is SO MUCH BETTER at being in charge than people give him credit for.

3. Other people find it baffling too. ♥

4. The look on Rodney's face right before the bomb goes off = smoking hot.

5. Hooray for Carson being a bitch and grabbing an orange. I think we can definitely declare orange-eating the universal code for "Fuck you, Rodney."

6. I really want to read this fic now: Rodney is (obliviously) trying to date Katie more, because he saw the nicer side of having a family. John, who has been projecting "Let's get married" since late season 1, is feeling pissy (hence, the orange he eats in that one ep.) Therefore, he decides to try other people... first, Ronon ("You seeing anyone?" "Like a woman?" "...Or a man?" *WINK*). In that conversation, we also get to see him being pissed about Rodney not wanting to get with him and the Big Gay Love ("There's no one like that here.") But Ronon seems not to be into that, so John thinks about Teyla. "Hey, I'm bi!" he says to himself. "I could totally date a woman!" And then he asks Teyla out, and she says, "No, John, you're gay. That's why your marriage ended. Go try Rodney again." And he acts all insulted. HEARTS.

9. Just a point - no one with a "bad migraine" has nice conversations in a well-lit room before wincing lightly and pressing a hand to the forehead, as if in mild discomfort. SGA writers, get a fucking medical consult! Citrus allergies = serious and life-threatening, migraines = mind-meltingly painful.

10. Who comes to Atlantis with sandals, but not gym shoes? Whatever, volleyball chick is hot, so I'll let it go.

11. No comment re:Carson, because I really don't have anything to say. He wasn't my favorite character, and I don't like the way he died. But oh, Rodney's emo manpain! *clutches*

12. JOHN. Your dress uniform is crazy fucking hot. And your little scrunchy face during Carson's funeral makes me finally understand the appeal of hurt/comfort.

14. Since when are Carson and Rodney that close? Or, um, close at all? I fucking hate the writers sometimes, you guys. Emotional continuitycakes. Jesus Christ, Carson's always shocked when Rodney does anything good, how is that BFF? Plus, don't manufacture angst for us! We have memories, what the hell! And oh my God, why do they have this pathological need to separate the soldiers and the scientists in terms of dating and friendship? This is not the first time they've done it. I honestly think that's a big part of their reasoning with Carson&Rodney - Rodney hangs out with warrior-types all the time, but he's a scientist, so CLEARLY he must spend all his free time with scientists, because the cool kids wouldn't want to hang out with him ANYWAY and just. adfasdfjlas I wasn't going to say anything serious about this episode, but seriously. SERIOUSLY.

15. Whatever, I'm totally OK with it if it means John is Rodney's wife.
