the fact that I've encountered all of which you listed is a testament to how extremely accomodating fandom is D:

this, which approximates your pollen/spell idea (http://sevenfists.livejournal.com/226440.html) or like and mooore spells gone wrong (http://linaerys.livejournal.com/638229.html#cutid1) there are so many of them! and so many of them so good! idk if you figure out a way to stop obsessing over merlin, publicize your methods because at one point we are going to need to mitigate the unironic passion that burns in our veins so unironically for this show /o\
