omg you guys

I am so unbelievably thrilled and excited – some lovely lovely anonymous person has given me 6 months of paid LJ time! Whoever you are, you are so very kind, and I have been gleefully uploading icons and paging through moodthemes ever since I got the notification. Feel free to request a ficlet in any of my fandoms (I'll even try to write outside my OTPs if you want, but I don't promise it will be pretty!) If you would care to step forward so I can shower you with adoration, that would be fantastic, but if you're too modest an anonymous comment will be just fine. Seriously, you guys = the best.

In less squeeful news, there's been a death in the family (no one I've ever actually met, so I'm not that torn up), and I'm flying down to Florida for the funeral. I might be out of contact for a few days: probably from tomorrow morning until Tuesday afternoon. So if you have something urgent to tell me, now's the time!

this is totally irrelevant to, er, all of the above, but i'm seizing the moment to say hello! you noticed my drive-by-friending and i feel like i should make noises. so may i say you have the best journal title in history. (unless the journal title is the other one, in which case - oh, wait, they're both good. confused now. but the felching one makes me grin like an idiot every time i see it.)

OMG, I am stealing your credit here! It is true, some of the best advice on growing older I ever got was given to me by [livejournal.com profile] joandarck. That journal title is all her. I actually started to write up an explanation of the whole thing for my userinfo, but... Joan, HOW do I explain the felching? I just, I tried? But it is a little unwieldy.

That's okay! Felching is one of life's beautiful mysteries. There's really no need to explain. I only mentioned it to try and impress [livejournal.com profile] _unhurt_. It was weak... I admit it.
