I am sleepy ALL THE TIME omg why?

Here are some points I would like to make.

1. Benton Fraser is totally Audrey Hepburn. I'm not really sure what this means, you guys. Just, you should contemplate it. Like a Zen koan. ETA: we ponder this further

2. Here is the prompt I just suggested over at [livejournal.com profile] ds_harlequin: Prompt: Benton Fraser and Ray Kowalski have to get married! Because, uhm, they HAVE to because of PLOT. I don't know. Honestly, I could read, like, twelve variants on this idea. AND IT MUST BE CONSUMATED. ALSO BECAUSE OF PLOT. And then there is ANGST and KISSES. And a happy ending. \o/ But now I am completely, utterly obsessed by this idea! I want to read, like, four separate novels about Fraser and Kowalski being forced to get married. They have sex! And Fraser is way, way more conflicted about the ethics of it than Ray is, but Ray is really insecure, and maybe they don't so much ACTUALLY have to have sex as Ray implies they have to have sex, and it's, it's, I WANT TO READ THIS YOU GUYS. Especially if it's set in some kind of AU Regency England where men get married.

4. FAT LEE ISN'T FAT ANYMOOORE *criez emo tear* but, yum

5. [livejournal.com profile] shoemaster's bed is soooo comfy.

ETA AGAIN: 6. GUYS. GUYS. Do you remember Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, the Disney Channel Original Movie? (And its sequel, Zenon: The Zequel?) ...So what if you can't write for it? What if the one prompt you thought of, but didn't submit would have been the one to click into place in someone else's mind? What if, because you didn't submit a prompt, someone didn't write a fic that could have been among the best of due south?

Hmmm, you make a compelling argument. Okay! When I am slightly more AWAKE I will write prompts. When I am as sleepy as I am now, all my fic ideas are "and then they cuddle in bed and the sheets are all clean and soft and they sleep instead of having sex".

oh man, don't ENCOURAGE me! That would be my most self-indulgent fic ever. Other people, their ultimate indulgence fic is BDSM incest fic with threesomes and whips. Me, it's CUDDLING.

I am going to ENCOURAGE you! because I love good cuddling fics. Seriously, cuddling was the best part of dating (until i had to nearly chop off his arm because i am TWITCHY about personal space, er, i disgress).

Like, Rayk would be sad because his father would have called him a freak, and benton would stare at him and wonder how to make him feel better, and he would awkwardly put his arm around ray, and then ray would just lean back into his arms and it would be CUTE. AND CUDDLY.

But they could be all young and innocent and explorative? Is that a word? It should be. Akward but hopeful and so very sweet. And then someone's dad get smad and he goes running to his boyfriend and they just hold each other until they both fall asleep.


AND THEN THEY RUN AWAY TO JOIN THE CIRCUS. maybe that should be another prompt.

I have a CRAPPY ass dorm mattress with a cheap cheap foam topper from Target. Like, the first night I moved in, I had a bruise on my hip the next day because of the springs and it sucked, it sucked a lot. This is like magic, and was really cheap (for the Twin XL size, at least)

OMG NOW I WANT MARRIAGE FIC AS WELL.

Maybe they go out horseback riding and it turns out there is a STORM and they are gone all NIGHT and their clothes are RUINED and they come back and have to marry because of reputation.

Or! Maybe there was like a feud between their clans or families or countries or whatever, and they are the arranged marriage for PEACE FOR THEIR WORLDS and one of them has to leave their entire life behind and go to this new world!

OH MY GOD I WANT THAT. I JUST. I WANT THAT REAL BAD. Maybe Ray has to get married in order to get his inheritance and save his family from destitution! And Fraser agrees to marry him because he's SECRETLY in love with him, but thinks Ray will never love him back, and this is the only way to be close to him, even though it hurts!
