I saw a guy at dinner the other day wearing a Billy Talent t-shirt, and completely humiliated myself. "Um, sorry, but do you know the movie Hard Core Logo?" Him, very polite, kind of bemused: "No?" Me, flailing: "I, uh, the band is named after a character from that movie. Your band. I mean! The band on your t-shirt." Him: "Oh, I didn't know that! Huh." Me: *flees*

Last night I went to an Electric Six concert with my two future roommates, inminiature (Meela) and J. It was a pretty fucking excellent time, I won't lie. There was a really hot guy with a lip ring, a la Frank Iero, who loaned Meela his lighter. Dudes with lip piercings: call me!

So hey, there are a bunch of new people around these parts lately, which is wonderful! Hi! Except I kind of worry that you are going to be disappointed, because I am seriously not very interesting. Most of my entries are a lot like, well, this. I never finish stories, ever! I often talk about my vagina! I'm a polyfannish WHORE, and I'm unlikely to stay exclusively focused on any fandom for very long, even though these bandslash boys seem to have got me pretty bad at the moment. Basically, y'all are coming in after a very atypical week, and I will be totally unoffended if at any point in the future you decide you have had enough of this noise. Every day is defriending amnesty day at Chez Kalpurna.

Blah, okay, I have material for about six posts swilling around in my head, but I also have a) no brainpower and 2) a shit ton of homework, so I'm not going to write them right now. Instead, I am going to beg for music uploads! I've been spending a lot of time listening to We Intertwined, Where We Went Wrong, and Don't Wake Me Up, all by the Hush Sound, and so I'd be eternally grateful if you guys could pass along any of their other songs you happen to have. I'd also appreciate links to fic and/or primers and/or picspam, if you've got those. I am possibly pretty seriously in love with Greta.

I have a pint of Vermonty Python all to myself. And a spoon. And a lot of reading. Mmmmm.
