I am in an EXCELLENT mood, flist! Do you want to know why? I WILL TELL YOU ANYWAY.

I totally dropped Bio you guys
This means, among other things, that I will not have class Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. \o/ \o/ I'll still have a full course load, so it's not really a problem academically, but it'll mean that I actually have time to sleep and do homework and have a social life AND maybe handle my crazy crazy Tuesday and Thursday schedules without failing out of college omg. And four day weekends every weekend!! I think this is a Good Step for me, sanity-wise, AND it's not even going to hurt me academically. Everybody wins.

Yesterday, to celebrate, I slept in really late and then watched every single episode of Ugly Betty, which I had never seen before. Oh, OH. I love this show times ten. What an adorable adorable cast and concept and YAY. America Ferrera totally deserved the Golden Globe, for reals. I love that moment in the pilot when Daniel begs her to come back, and she says, seriously, I'm going to have to think about it. And he keeps expecting her to do that thing from romantic comedies, where four seconds later, she says, "OK, I've thought about it!" But she doesn't. She lets him walk out the door, because he was a huge fucking asshole, and he needs to know that she won't put up with it. Besides, she has him where she wants him. I LOVE THIS SHOW. I love the over-the-top and yet plain title frame, for God's sake.

Other things I love:

- Fashion Television. I totally wish this were a real channel because I would watch it all the time. "Slutty scion," indeed.

- Daniel. ADORABLE. I thought I would ship him and Betty, but I totally don't! Except as my het BFF OTP. ♥ I want them to protect each other and threaten to kill each other's love interests if they hurt them and be BEST FRIENDS.

- Henry. I would have dumped Walter's ass the second Henry walked on the scene if I were Betty.

- All their NotMacs, with stickers covering the Apple logo.

- The telenovela. <3

- Pretty much every character ever on this show. (I could take or leave Walter and Amanda, but other than that, wins all 'round.)

Also, today I went up to Andersonville with greyandgrey and it was AWESOME. We ate a lovely lunch and gazed wistfully at books we wanted to buy and went to Early to Bed, an adorable sex shop owned and operated by women. And then we talked loudly about porn on the CTA. Fantastic!
