does "wishing" count as "thinking" on account of the, oh, 2000 miles or whatever it is currently between me and it?

(Oh so sadly, my two one point five* actual experiences in the greater Chicago area have been both a) less-than-a-day short and b) brutally disappointing, uncomfortable, or both. conquering my "but last time it sucked!" knee-jerk reaction to consider vacation-type-things has proved difficult.

I fail at knowing when stuff happens, but I am suggestible! and would probably go if you swore to let me hide behind you. *is awkward*

ALSO, there's a FOB show in Iowa on the wednesday of thanksgiving week, and Abby and I are giving serious consideration to driving there - four hours isn't that bad, right? - are you heading home for the holiday? or could you be corralled into such shenanigans?
