  1. Overheard In New York, you do continue to bring the lulz. Oh, Brendon.

  2. I have the most horrible and overwhelming urge to write fic where a band boy bodyswaps with a fangirl. The problem is that it would be universally condemned as a Mary Sue fic, and that wouldn't be entirely wrong. I just think it would be so INTERESTING. The moment when the girl confronts a horde of screaming twelve-year-olds for the first time. The urge to pretend she's not as big of a fan as she obviously is, the discomfort of using the bathroom as a dude, the awkward interactions with the other bandmembers. The moment when the band guy in her body opens her laptop (HAHA OH GOD). Maybe his exploration of her body, his interest in her life, the weird issues that come up there. Of course, it would end up being my love letter and apologia to fandom, because that's pretty much how I roll.

  3. I have at long last reached the point of having a Last.FM that reflects my taste enough to make the recommendations feature useful, which is pretty cool and I'm enjoying it.

  4. My Christmas so far has been, to be totally honest, stressful. But stressful mixed with nice bits. Sweeney Todd was a great movie, even if I did have to cover my eyes for some bits because I'm a giant wimp. My baby nephew is precious precious precious and my baby niece is feisty and adorable. Right now she's taking a nap, and his tiny sweet wide-eyed self is watching me type from across the room. God, I love babies. ♥ ♥ ♥ There's apple crumble in the oven, and the lights are sparkling on the tree, and my family is sitting around on the carpet and couches in front of the fireplace reading. It's not bad. ETA: Although I did manage to peel my finger while making the apple crumble. Owwwww.

  5. I didn't get it together to send the family Christmas card to anyone this year, but this is what it looked like, if you're curious!

    Awwwwwww, my family. ♥

Me TOO. I keep telling everyone, I need to get me some minions so I don't have to actually write this stuff I want to read! And awww, thanks. That's a lot of faith, considering how badly this could conceivably suck. :D

Re: #1. I initially read that as an emphatic "fucking" rather than an active "fucking" and then got really confused for a sec like "how're you gonna get wet if you're bden and therefore have a dick?"

Re: #2. OH DEAR SWEET GODS PLEASE WRITE THAT. I WANT IT SO BAD! DUDE, IF THIS FANDOM CAN TACKLE EVERY SINGLE OTHER TROPE OUT THERE, I THINK IT CAN HANDLE A TEENY WEENY BIT OF MARY SUE FIC. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!

Re: #4. Yay for the nice bits!

Re: #5. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Your sobrinos are the cutest things ever!

(um... english doesn't have a gender neutral plural for niece&nephew. so, I just used spanish...)

DAMN SKIPPY. And that's pretty much the first three reasons in a long list of awesomtastic reasons why you absolutely should rock the hell out of writing this! Also on the list of WHY YES: the signing of my immortal soul over to you and the awesomeness of pete's veiled blogspot references after he lurks it. ;)

The only questions left is which bandom boy.... plz dude from fob or mrc but mostly fob. or mcr. ;)

In conclusion, MERRY SCHMEXY FRACKIN XMAS, KALPURNA. Holiday stress sucks, but you are made of non-stop AWESOME. ilu, and hopefully will see you next week in Joisey, yes?

Ahahahahaha WOW. Can you imagine the new, unprecedented levels of stream-crossing involved in Pete Wentz reading my Mary Sue fic? :O

I can't DECIDE. I'd want it to be someone kind of interested in fandom/interesting to fandom, so maybe Pete, right? Or Patrick? Or Gerard or Frank or Bob? Not a Panic boy, I don't think. Maybe GABE, oh sweet God. No, probably not Gerard, he's too close to being a fangirl himself, he already gets it. So... Bob or Pete or Patrick. HMMMM

<33333333333333333 ILU2 and DEFINITELY next week in MCR's homeland, for sure. Call me? I'm going to leave my cell number in a second and delete it.

re #2: I've totally got this idea STUCK IN MY HEAD! You should totally write it! Of course, my head automatically went to Pete being the switchee, and *ARMS*. YES. I love the premise!

I'm REALLY tempted to make it Pete, but then part of me thinks WHAT IF IT WERE BOB, or PATRICK, neither of whom really get the fannish thing. I'm almost leaning the most toward Patrick at the moment.

HAHAHAHA I'M SO GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS
