1) You know what I love? Going back once I'm well involved in a fandom, and rereading the fic that I read when I barely knew what the characters' names were. Best ever.

2) YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I LOVE? That I just signed my very first lease! YES! I will be living in an apartment, an adorable, awesome apartment with light and windows and counter space, starting in September. Three bedrooms, for me and two roommates. I am so thrilled. And it's only a few blocks from

3) Bandslash fandom keeps on filling needs I didn't know I had, y'all. I thought I needed hooker!Pete, but I was wrong: what I needed was INTERPLANETARY HOOKER PATRICK. Yes.

4) It is actually possible that all you need, all you really need to get me head-over-heels in love with a fandom, is a Harlequin Romance Challenge. It worked for SGA, and by God, it is SO working for bandslash.

5) Here's some things I think every fandom needs! Oh, hey, let's do a poll, actually.

Dude, I LOVED the interplanetary-hooker!fic. How cool was that?!

And I am FULLY also re-reading fic from before I really knew who anyone was, because suddenly there are all these little things I *get* now. My memories are getting hammered because I keep adding more and more stuff (and, uh, more and more bands).

SO COOL. I read the summary, and went "Ahahaha, she DIDN'T!" And then I read the first sentence:

Patrick put his hand out and touched the shuddering glass of the porthole window as the shuttle began its descent planetward.

and then I DIED. Basically.

Also, this morning before work I randomly watched the Fuse Guide to FOB, and I have the following remarks to make (because I cannot remark upon them on my own journal when I am *simultaneously* spamming my f-list about Kormanslash).

1. They are SO TINY. Like, they are walking around Chicago, and everyone is 3' taller than them. TINY.

2. Pete also has his share of really BAD clothes, and really, just, NO, with the really-tight-hoodie-with-hood-up-look, because, yeah. No.

3. I love Patrick making Pete go on stage with him to make him "look less awkward".

4. I also love Patrick kind of flailing about liking Academy in a feeble sort of way, and not knowing how to phrase anything.

I also watched every Making Of... video I could find, and just. Oh, they are so adorkable.

That is all.

God, why are they so amazingly adorable?? I don't even KNOW. I will never, ever get tired of:

1. Patrick carrying Mrs. Wentz's groceries. I know it's been said before, but seriously. SERIOUSLY.

2. The boys talking about whether their parents like their music. Patrick's dad trying to play him Grand Theft Autumn! Mrs. Wentz thinks Patrick has a fabulous voice!!

3. Pete's accent in this I find really charming, for some reason. Hearts for Chicago boys.

4. I really like them talking about their parents! Especially when they're making fun of them for cutting out the wrong articles from the newspaper. Because, hi, they love their parents so much, and they're such asshole KIDS sometimes, but they still love their parents. Aww.

5. Mrs. Wentz needs to be in so much more fic! She is the best, and she loves Patrick! Wait, I don't know, is this a squick for people? Because she's not a public figure? I have no boundaries anymore, so I need other people to tell me if things are weird or not.

6. Oh my God, William is about EIGHT FEET taller than Patrick! Whoa!

I love watching videos of these boys so so much. It worries me that they're all streaming, because I want them safe! What if they all got taken down some day? I would cry.

Okay, so I clicked hooker and mpreg as things I have contributed even if they aren't quite done yet. By a long shot. BUT WHATEVER.

hee, I didn't click high school AU because I didn't want to jinx myself. But I thought about it! ♥

I have WIPs. Many of them. They, uh, would fill several of the aforementioned categories. If I ever finish them. ;)

I kind of have a theory that a lot of people's eternal WIPs are clichefic, but basically that theory is based on nothing! SO.

Wow, your list has made me realize how I've been really kind of remiss about bringing my share of the crack. How have I not written ANY hooker!fic? Or my god, not even a small amount of aliens-made-them-do-it?

ahahahaa, WHATEVER, you wrote LESBIAN VAMPIRE FIC, that fulfils your quota for LIFE. ♥ ♥

Er, hi. Um, I hate doing this, so please forgive the awkwardness and things? :P I recently got into bandom - recently as in a week ago - and somewhere in the hunt for icons and fics and picspams I found you. So as not to fall back on the 'you seem cool' thing; I like your posts (especially the one about Hum Hallelujah; that song always makes me teary about the idea of it, too) and that snippet of fic you posted made me go off and keyboard smash.
